The full-size Ford Transit serves different jobs from the smaller Transit Custom. A delivery panel van, a crew vehicle and a chassis cab with a working body each need a clear specification before the funding can be compared.
Start with the exact wheelbase, roof height, cab and body. Check load dimensions, plated limits and the usable payload after any racking, lift or conversion has been fitted. Tell us about route mileage, delivery access and the equipment the business needs to carry.
DCF can discuss new or used Transit funding alongside sourcing. Send the supplier quotation or listing, or explain the specification and budget if you are still looking. For an E-Transit enquiry, include the battery and charging information and consider the electric van guide.

For a chassis cab, Luton, tipper or dropside, identify the bodybuilder, equipment and delivery timetable. Separate supplier payments need to be agreed with the lender before you commit.
Provide registration, mileage, maintenance information and details of modifications. Compare the proposed finance term with the vehicle’s condition and intended working life.

Your funding options
Spread the purchase cost through agreed repayments. Ownership can pass to your company once all contractual payments and any option-to-purchase fee have been paid.
Compare the deposit, VAT due at the start, monthly payments, fees and any final payment together.
Your company uses the van in return for rentals while the finance provider retains ownership. Understand the initial rental, ongoing payments and end-of-term arrangements before signing.
Your accountant can help assess the tax and accounting treatment for your business.
Deposits, rates, terms and any guarantees depend on your company, the vehicle and the lender. Use our calculator for indicative payments, then request a personalised quotation for the vehicle you want to buy.
