The practical answer
Potentially. Lenders may require additional ownership, valuation, identification and asset checks before paying a private seller.
Collect the machine identification, condition information, original invoices where available and any finance-clearance evidence. A seller currently using the machine does not prove unencumbered title.
An inspection or independent valuation may be required. Allow for dismantling, transport and commissioning and agree the payment timetable before committing.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
