The practical answer
Potentially. A purchase from an end user can require private-sale checks in addition to normal machinery underwriting.
Provide the machine make, model, serial number, year, condition, service history and price. Ask for evidence of the seller’s ownership and disclose any finance that needs settling.
Plan dismantling, transport and commissioning before agreeing a payment date. The lender may require a valuation or inspection and may not release money until ownership and delivery conditions are satisfied.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
