The practical answer
Yes. It can leave significant transport and collection responsibilities outside the equipment price, so the total cash requirement needs checking.
Ask the supplier and freight adviser to confirm collection, packing, loading, insurance, customs and delivery responsibilities under the actual sale terms. Do not infer all obligations from the headline price.
Give the lender a complete cost and payment schedule. Finance for the machine does not automatically cover every cost of moving it from the supplier’s premises into service at yours.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
