The practical answer
No. A credit decision is separate from product suitability, safety, import and operating requirements.
Ask the supplier and appropriate technical advisers what documentation and checks the particular machinery needs for its intended UK use. Requirements may differ by product and destination within the UK.
Tell the lender if documentation or modification is outstanding, and include the related cost and time in the project plan. Do not accept equipment solely because funding has been discussed.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
