The practical answer
Potentially. Both used-asset underwriting and overseas-supplier checks may apply, so provide the full quote, specification, serial information and payment schedule early.
In addition to specification and service history, explain how the asset will be inspected, collected and brought into UK use. Obtain evidence of the overseas seller’s ownership.
Agree currency conversion, supplier verification and delivery acceptance before payment deadlines. A satisfactory engineering inspection does not by itself resolve the funding or title position.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
