New contracts & business growth

What contract information is useful for a machinery finance application?

Useful information explains the work, its certainty, expected margin and when cash will be received.

The practical answer

Useful information explains the work, its certainty, expected margin and when cash will be received.

Provide signed orders or contracts where available, start and end dates, notice provisions, volumes, invoice terms and any customer acceptance requirements. Distinguish a forecast pipeline from committed work.

Explain how the machine supports delivery and what other resources are needed. A large headline contract value can be misleading if costs are high or receipts arrive well after repayments and supplier bills.

Important

Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.

What should I do next?

Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
