The practical answer
Potentially. New-start funding is more dependent on the complete proposal, including director experience, vehicle, deposit, contracts and financial information requested by the lender.
Explain relevant transport experience and the proposed work, including contract terms, margins and customer-payment timing. Disclose the operator-licence position and any conditions outstanding.
Allow cash for insurance, fuel, maintenance and wages before the truck earns money. The vehicle and a contract alone do not establish affordability.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
