The practical answer
Ordinary HP or finance lease funding generally finances the asset; maintenance is only included if the quotation and contract specifically provide it.
Ask whether any service package is separate, what it covers and who is responsible for arranging repairs. Tyres, wear items and breakdown assistance may have different terms.
Compare the whole running cost, including insurance, servicing and expected downtime. A low finance instalment is not the same as a fixed total cost of operating the van.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
