The practical answer
Some lenders may consider structured payments, but seasonal schedules are not available on every asset or facility.
Show when income is received, the low-cash months and all other borrowing commitments. Explain how repayments would be covered if a harvest, contract or customer payment is delayed.
Compare the proposed schedule, interest and total payable with level monthly payments. A lower payment during quiet months may mean higher payments later, rather than a reduction in the overall cost.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
