The practical answer
Laser cutting equipment may qualify, but the full system and associated premises work should be itemised.
Separate the machine, chiller, extraction, controls, software and installation from building alterations and consumables. Explain the material types, production need and expected utilisation.
Check the power supply, extraction and commissioning programme with the supplier. Ask when lender funding can be released and how any installation gap will be funded before the machine starts earning.
Commercial finance is subject to status, lender approval and the specific asset and transaction. The right structure depends on the complete circumstances of the business.
What should I do next?
Have the asset details, supplier information and an outline of what the business needs ready. DCF can then discuss the requirement and identify which lenders may be suitable.
